High-speed internet with speeds up to 1GBps allows an improved quality of life in a number of areas for communities in and around central Indiana. This project makes real-time online learning and telemedicine a reality for residents throughout the region.
FTTH Network Installation – Indiana
Project Description:
Install a FTTH network in the outer suburbs of central Indiana. Methods of construction included directional drilling, open trenching, fiber pulling and handhole placement.
Scope:
- Adhere to engineering determined path of route
- Attain any and all necessary construction permits
- Directional drilling along designated fiber route
- Open trenching along route
- Conduit placement
- Fiber pulling into new conduit
- Handhole placements
- Backfill and finish/beautification of work area
